BBC Radio 2 in the Park will take place in Preston's Moor Park this weekend
In 2007, BBC Radio 1 saw their Big Weekend in Preston , with huge names flocking to the city for the much-anticipated event. The names included the likes of Rihanna, Mark Ronson, Scissor Sisters, Natasha Bedingfield and Calvin Harris - all of which made their way to the Lancashire event.
What can I expect? Gates will open to the pre-party event at 5pm and stage entertainment will start at 5.45pm. Any road closures? There will be a number of road closures taking place between Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8. According to Preston City Council they will be:Where can I park? Taking place at Moor Park, the site can be accessed by foot, car and in a dedicated meet and greet area.Moor Park is accessible by foot from Preston City Centre, Preston Station and all Park and Walk Car Parks. Official routes will be signed and stewarded before and after the show.
