Carol Kirkwood has hit out at "mean" BBC Breakfast viewers after a Christmas debate. Naga Munchetty was nowhere to be seen as Friday December 30 was hosted instead by Nina Warhurst and Charlie Stayt.

Carol replied: "Yes!"Nina continued: "Have you ever had one where you thought, 'Oh, that's not quite hit the spot?'"Carol said: "Do you know what Nina? Even if I had, I wouldn't admit it because somebody's gone out and spent their hard-earned cash and thought about buying a gift.
Naga, meanwhile, spent her morning in the gym, and posted a sweaty selfie from her workout. She captioned the post: "Last gym visit for 2022. Aiming for a fitter, and hopefully healthier, 2023. Xx"
