BBC Three is asking production companies based in the West Midlands to pitch ideas for a new current affairs documentary.Companies are being asked to put forward ideas for a 60-minute current affairs film.
The new initiative is the first opportunity to be made available through the West Midlands IP Fund, which aims to provide development funding in the region. Ed Shedd, chair of Create Central, an organisation which brings together the region's most successful TV, film, games and wider creative content business leaders, said it was "thrilled"
