That report was made around 8:30 a.m. to provide assistance to police and Pennsylvania State game wardens with a bear made itself at home in a tree across from the courthouse on Baltimore Street.Several game wardens were lifted by one of the first truck ladders to where the bear was located, and then they tranquilized and removed it from the tree. Crews caught the beat with a tarp.The bear was then tagged, measured and removed from the scene.
