Brenda Bowersox, 55, of York, filed for a permanent protection from abuse order last month, but her request was denied, according to court documents obtained byThe Dispatch report said Judge Michael Flannelly denied Bowersox protection from abuse because she failed to prove the protection was necessary.
Brenda suffered gunshot wounds to the head, neck, and upper torso, according to the coroner’s office. Brenda’s death was ruled a homicide and Steve’s a suicide, Coroner Pamela Gay said. There will be no autopsies, but routine toxicologies were obtained, she said.
