The fire service were called to the incident at the Travelodge on Brunswick Street

Guests at a Belfast City Centre Hotel were evacuated this evening after a burst pipe set off the fire alarm.

Four pumps, an aerial appliance and a special appliance were sent to the scene and upon arrival it was discovered that steam coming from a burst pipe had triggered the fire alarm.
