With the news Coca-Cola is taking 'Lilt' off the shelves, it got us here at Belfast Live thinking about the treats of years gone past that we all love and miss.
Fives These little Tayto classics were a small bite of bacon heaven for only 5p. Tayto currently sells a new version called 'High Five's but the common consensus is that they just don't hit the same. Texan Bar Texan was a nougat and toffee candy bar covered with chocolate, manufactured during the 1970s and withdrawn from sale in the 1980s but was briefly re-launched as a limited "nostalgia" edition by Nestlé in 2005.
Flyte Flyte was a chocolate bar manufactured by Mars and introduced in 1996. It consisted of a chocolatey, whipped nougat-style centre coated in milk chocolate and was essentially the same as a Milky Way bar.It consisted of a bird's nest-styled chocolate coating with a creamy mousse centre similar to the filling of a Walnut Whip.
