Ben Shephard has shared a message of thanks amid mixed reactions to his debut on ITV 's This Morning with Cat Deeley . Ben and Cat took over the show on Monday, replacing Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who both left last year. To mark their first week, Ben posted a series of fun photos from the show on social media. The pictures showed the new TV duo sharing laughs with famous guests like Sir Rod Stewart and Jools Holland.
Ben said they spent their time "laughing and eating delicious food". He joked that he'll be fasting over the weekend to make room for more food next week.
