Benidorm is a popular holiday destination with Brits, and one travel guru has explained a huge difference between drinking in the Spanish hotspot compared to drinking in the UK
After all, what could top the feel of warm sun on your skin, grains of sand between your toes and a refreshing drink in constant reach? However, Benidorm regulars might spot a striking disparity when it comes to enjoying a beverage while abroad.
In his latest video, he declares: "There's UK measures, and then there's Benidorm measures." The footage goes on to show an astonishingly large amount of liquor poured into a glass, nearly filling it halfway. Some social media users were quick to point to the ice cubes, suggesting they could give the illusion of a larger drink, but committed Benidorm fans were having none of it. One holidaymaker chimed in, claiming there's no skimping on servings because bartenders generously "pour" rather than measure the spirits.
