Best Buy slightly increased its targets for sales and profit for the full fiscal year

Photo: Associated PressBest Buy Co. reported another quarter of rising sales, boosted by online orders, and executives gave a more upbeat forecast for the pivotal holiday shopping season than they did during the summer.
The electronics retailer’s comparable sales rose 1.7% from a year ago, at the high end of its revised forecast. The results included a 15% increase in domestic online sales. Comparable sales include results from stores open 14 months as well as websites and call centers.
