by Mariza MendozaThe new shelter will help ease overcrowding and improve conditions at current shelters. That’s because Bexar County commissioners just approved more than three million dollars for a new facility on the far west side . It’s a project they say that’s long overdue.
Commissioner Flores has been leading the way to get a new animal care facility built in her precinct for the past 3 years. This is what the new facility will look like the county approved the animal care center that’s nearly 12,000 square feet and the additional kennel run for over two million dollars.
