A Bexar County suspect committed suicide while being strip-searched in a Bexar County Sheriff's Office building and now a lengthy investigation has begun.
Sheriff Salazar stated in a press conference that the 19-year-old Jesus Gonzales was brought in under a domestic violence choking charge by a San Antonio Police Department officer. The sheriff explained during this time, the suspect pulled out a concealed weapon that was in the groin area underneath his underwear.
Salazar explained during the conference that as protocol no one inside that building was ever armed and that the weapon should have been found long before this incident happened.
