He was sharply critical of Trump in a Jan. 6 anniversary speech and again Tuesday while speaking about voting rights. “What he’s got to understand is that he’s no longer a senator. He’s now president. And he’s got to be able to say to some of these senators, ‘I know there’s some things that you’d like to have my help on, but let me tell you upfront: I need your help, too,’” Clyburn said.
