After Russell entered a not guilty plea, the municipal court judge found Russell guilty on two misdemeanor charges.
A timeline of events from Russell's disappearance to her return home, and information revealed from Hoover Police regarding the ongoing investigation which led up to her first time appearing in court:It was stated she stopped near mile marker 11 just before 10 p.m. that Thursday night after she reported she saw a toddler walking on the side of the interstate.
Hoover Police officers arrived on scene within five minutes of being dispatched, and several other officers arrived shortly behind.
