The mission of this federal advisory committee, which has also included “Terminator” star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Yankees legend Mariano Rivera as past chairpersons, is to “promote healthy, accessible eating and physical activity for all Americans,” the White House said in a press release on Friday morning. The council also focuses on “expanding national awareness of the importance of mental health as it pertains to physical fitness and nutrition.
