Knox’s future was especially in doubt following a 2020 campaign that saw the Brentwood, Tennessee native record just 288 yards.
Knox’s evolution as a player included him getting past some drop issues that plagued his first two seasons. Knox was a completely different player in 2021 as opposed to the difficult 2020 he experienced. Knox’s reception percentage when targeted went from a middling 58.6% to an efficient 70.8%. Knox’s contested-catch rate increased from 33.3% to 53.8%. Knox led the league in passer rating when targeted . Allen certainly appreciates the reliability.
