Homewood police on Friday said Kenia Michelle Sturdivant, 23, is charged with attempted murder, said Sgt. John Carr.Police were notified at 12:17 p.m. WednesdayOfficers found the male driver of a vehicle had sustained a gunshot wound. He was alert and conscious when taken to the hospital. Carr said the victim is an Uber driver and Sturdivant was a customer. They did not know each other, but it’s not clear what led to the shooting.
