'We can’t wait to show you we have up our sleeves'
The annual light show has been extended for a further two months once again and will shine until January 25. They will spark into life with a live Switch-on event on Friday, August 30 and stay shining until Sunday, January 5.
In a state on the 'I Love Blackpool' Facebook page today , the tourist information centre said: "BLACKPOOL ILLUMINATIONS ANNOUNCEMENT. We are excited to announce that Blackpool’s annual Illuminations display will once again be extended by two months after another dramatic rise in visitor numbers over the winter months.
