In an update, a Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) spokesperson told Belfast Live that the incident concluded at 11:52pm, and the cause was determined as "deliberate ignition".
They added: "The fire involved a three storey section of a derelict building and required 12 breathing apparatus wearers to be deployed." Police say the fire is being treated as 'arson'. Officers were called to the scene on Drumahoe Road shortly after 9pm on Sunday. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Fortunately, there have been no reports of any injuries. However, there has been significant damage to the building as a result of the blaze.
