Bob Dylan returns to Northeast Ohio in October for a 'Rough and Rowdy Ways' show at the Akron Civic Theatre.

AKRON, Ohio - Bob Dylan is hitting the road again and his “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour will be roughing up The Akron Civic Theatre on Saturday, October 21. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 25 atThe 1988 Rock Hall of Fame inductee may have stopped calling his touring jaunts “The Neverending Tour” back in the ‘90s, but Dylanophiles are certainly hoping the living legend’s tours never end.
The album, Dylan’s 39th studio offering featured the nearly 17-minute song “Murder Most Foul” about the Kennedy assassination, which holds the distinction of being both Dylan’s longest and wordiest song. The album was universally hailed as one of Dylan’s best and he has played as many as eight songs from the album during the tour.
Fans who buy tickets should know the show at the Akron Civic Theater will be a “phone-free experience.” The policy for the show will be as follows: “Use of phones, smartwatches, and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smartwatches, and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security.
