BREAKING: Body found in police search for Mackenzie Crook's sister-in-law
Police searching for Laurel Aldridge - the sister-in-law of actor Mackenzie Crook - have confirmed a body has been found.
The 62-year-old was reported missing from her home in Walberton, near Arundel, West Sussex, on February 14. She was last seen at Slindon Cricket Club, roughly two-and-a-half miles away. Crook, known for roles in The Office, Pirates Of The Caribbean and Worzel Gummidge, made public appeals to find his wife’s elder sister and said her disappearance was 'agonising' for the family. He said her loved ones were 'determined and driven' in their search.A Sussex Police spokesperson said: "Sadly the body of a woman has been found in the Tortington Lane area of Arundel.
Police had previously searched private land. Earlier this week, two Sussex Police dog unit vehicles and another car with missing posters stuck to its rear windscreen were seen parked at the club where she was last seen.Read next:
