We earlier reported that 35-year-old Sophie Johnston had vanished after leaving her home in Partick on Monday at 8.30am.
Now officers have confirmed that her body has been found in an area near Baldernock Crescent in Milngavie.While formal identification is yet to take place, the force has informed Sophie's family. Cops are saying that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and that a report will be forwarded to the procurator fiscal.
