The wman's body was discovered at Donmouth Beach in Aberdeen in the early hours of the morning.
Officers were alerted to the body at Donmouth Beach in the city at around 6:40am this morning, Saturday, October 19.
At this stage of the investigation police are treating the woman's death as unexplained and say their enquiries are ongoing. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.40am on Saturday 19 October, 2024, officers were made aware that the body of a woman was found on the beach in the Donmouth Road area of Aberdeen.
