Boeing contributing 70 points to the Dow's 85-point rise early Monday
The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.35% was poised to gain Monday morning at the start of trade after shares of Boeing Co. BA, +2.46% announced named Chairman David Calhoun as its chief executive and president, replacing Dennis Muilenburg, who has resigned. Shares of Boeing were climbing 3.1% in premarket action, which would contribute roughly 70 points to the price-weighted Dow, with Boeing one of the index's most influential components.
