Tributes have been paid to a 15-year-old boy who died after his e-bike crashed following a police chase.The incident happened at around 2pm on Thursday when traffic officers with Greater Manchester Police began following an e-bike on Fitzwarren Street.
Taylor-Jade Cookson, believed to be Saul’s sister, wrote on Facebook: “Words cannot describe my feelings at the moment. Rest in peace Saul I love you.”Kelly Mcelroy, who set up the page, wrote: “No parents should bury their child especially in these circumstances, this family is one of our own so let’s dig deep and help as much as we can.”
An IOPC spokesperson said: “We were notified by Greater Manchester Police due to the fact a police vehicle had been following the e-bike shortly before the collision.
