An investigation is continuing into the crash in Bolton
A boy of 16 who was hit by a cop car in Bolton escaped with minor injuries, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed.Police said initially the full extent of his injuries was 'unknown at this time'. The teenager was taken to hospital from the scene, a spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service confirmed. Officers cordoned off a stretch of the road, near the junction with Church Avenue, after the incident. A police photographer was spotted taking pictures within the cordon as traffic was diverted away from the area. A number of shops were within the taped off area.
He said: "I went to the window and I him on the floor . I saw the police running with the green first-aid bag."
