A second person, described only as a male juvenile, was arrested Monday in connection to the deaths, police said. His exact age and relationship to the victims or mother were not immediately disclosed. The LAPD said officers were called to the home at around 7:45 a.m. Sunday to investigate a homicide in the West Hills neighborhood. It was unclear Monday who made the call.Borihanh said the children's mother was taken to a hospital over mental health concerns. She was released from the hospital later Sunday morning.One neighbor, Stephen Hayes, told NBC Los Angeles that while he did not know the family well, he had always considered them a "nice young family.
