Jefferson came into the game third in the district, one game ahead of Brackenridge and Highlands. “We just had to weather the storm,” Brewer said. “We score in twos. A lot of these teams score in threes, so we just had to play our defense and weather the storm and hope they don’t make 20 threes.”
