Rankings are based on overall and recent performances, quality wins, strength of schedule and team accomplishments.The No. 6 state-ranked Eagles are on a five-game winning streak after going 2-0 last week in nondistrict play.
23 state-ranked Spartans are on an eight-game winning streak entering this week. Seven Lakes won both of its games last week against two state ranked opponents. Seven lakes upset No. 12 Austin Westlake, 69-50, and then rolled by Stratford, 76-45.Strake Jesuit split two games last week in nondistrict play. The Crusaders defeated Hightower, 64-60, and lost to No. 15 state-ranked Furr, 69-59.No. 14 state-ranked Elkins had a showdown with No. 8 Cypress Creek last week.
