The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh was up for the best presenter prize at the NTAs
Bradley Walsh couldn't help but turn the air blue after he was beaten by the seemingly unbeatable duo Ant and Dec at this year's star-studded National Television Awards. At 64, the popular host of The Chase was in the running for the best presenter award on Wednesday evening, alongside fellow ITV icons Ant McPartlin, aged 48, and Declan Donnelly, as well as other TV favourites Alison Hammond, Claudia Winkleman, and Stacey Solomon.
Unfazed, Ant and Dec smoothly proceeded with their thank-you notes, where Dec issued a playful rebuke: 'Sit down, Bradley! Sit down!' To the audience's surprise, they also dropped a bombshell by suggesting they might take a break from the public eye for some time, reports the Mirror . During their speech, Dec expressed heartfelt thanks: 'Thank you it's really hard to put into words just how this feels and what it means to us that you take the time to vote for us.
