The much-loved presenter of The Chase suffered from "seriously bad" blepharitis, which causes red and swollen eyes. After fans noticed something different about him back in July 2021, Bradley opened up on This Morning saying: "People don't realise I have seriously bad blepharitis. I have to take one pill a day for it or I really struggle.
This health update came only a year after Bradley had a significant lifestyle shift due to a heart disease scare, mirroring his father who passed away at 59 because of heart failure. At 61, Bradley made positive changes to prevent being another statistic. Speaking about the wake-up call, he spoke to The Sun on Sunday about how he realised he was a potential ticking time bomb.
