The quizzer was unimpressed
Bradley Walsh returned to host Thursday's edition of the popular ITV gameshow. The 62-year-old presenter welcomed John, Sylvia, Jack and Dee on the latest episode of the teatime favourite.
The players were testing their wits against the Governess in a bid to win a huge cash prize. John started the episode off and earned £3,000 in his cashbuilder. However, Dee was unimpressed that The Chaser offered just £300 to take a step closer to the Final Chase. She said: "I think £300 is a bit of an insult. Sorry, Anne.
"We need you back. We need to be a strong team here so take it back." Bradley agreed with the advice as he said: "Yeah, get us up and running with £3,000. You're right Dee." John followed his team's advice and opted for the £3,000 before he confidently progressed to the Final Chase. He was joined in the last round by Dee and Sylvia as the team were competing for £16,000.
However, The Governess was in imperious form and caught them with 17 seconds remaining - so the team left empty-handed. Dee was gracious in defeat as she said: "Anne is an an inspiration for young women."2-for-1 on Desserts at Heavenly Desserts
