Boston scores 13 of his game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter to lead a late-game onslaught that lifts the Clippers to an 82-65 victory on Friday afternoon in Las Vegas.

Brandon Boston Jr. reminded Summer League viewers that, yes, he’s a bucket. But he’s also working on becoming more than that, as Friday’s 22-point, eight-rebound, three-steal, three-assist effort proved.

With the victory, the Clippers improved to 2-2 at the league-wide event while spoiling Utah’s hopes of competing for the Summer League title, dropping the Jazz to 2-2 as well. But a shift in energy, Boston said during his postgame interview on ESPN, helped them turn things around in the final period, when they needed fewer than three minutes to score 13 points – part of an 18-0 run that helped the Clippers take control. They outscored Utah 32-9 in those final 10 minutes.
