The Atlanta Braves unveiled new uniforms on Monday that pay homage to the franchise’s greatest player – Mobile native Hank Aaron.

Features of the new jerseys include a 715 on the inside collar reminiscent of the way it appeared on the Atlanta Stadium scoreboard on April 8, 1974. Aaron’s motto of “Keep swinging” and his jersey number of 44 are embroidered on the jersey and under the bill of the cap.
The Braves, along with the Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers, are joining Major League Baseball’s City Connect program in its third season.
