Rodgers wants two new hit men to supplement Kyogo
Brendan Rodgers has revealed is determined to bolster Celtic’s attack with TWO new strikers, writes Michael Gannon in the USA.
“Rocco was that but he’s moved on. So we may have to look elsewhere. But three is a really good number. Two, I would say to be number one strikers, and one that we can nurture and develop.” “But we know we need to improve the squad, we want to develop. But in the meantime, whilst we await that, you can see the players that are here are developing well, working well and they’re playing some fantastic football at this pre-season stage.”
Rodgers is looking for his squad to step up their pre-season preparations with a tough test against Manchester City in North Carolina tomorrow night. The Hoops strolled to a 4-0 win against DC United in Washington at the weekend but the English Premier League champs will be a a huge step up, even if they still have some international stars to come back.
