Celtic are one of the Pot Four teams in the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers has named his 25-man Celtic squad for the Champions League clashes against Lazio, Atletico Madrid and Feyenoord - with three summer signings missing out on the final squad in what is a bitter blow to their careers.
However, it remains an exciting time at Parkhead. Rodgers is back in the hot seat, and there are new recruits for the fans to hail as their own, including the like of Luis Palma, Maik Nawrocki, Gustaf Lagerbielke and more. But three will miss out on the Champions League group stage campaign - with Nawrocki being one of those.
Stephen Welsh, Anthony Ralston, Callum McGregor and James Forrest act as four of the academy homegrown players required, whilst Mikey Johnstone, David Turnbull, Greg Taylor and Scott Bain are the four further national homegrown options, which has allowed Celtic to grow their squad out - something Rangers didn't do as a result of not having enough players from Scotland.
