People have gathered for candle-lit vigils in memory of Brianna Ghey, a transgender teenager who was stabbed to death.Emergency services were called but Brianna, from Birchwood in Warrington, Cheshire, died at the scene.
In the coming days, more vigils, organised by members of the transgender community, are due to be held in cities around the UK.Cheshire Police have arrested a boy and girl, both 15 years old and from the local area, on suspicion of murdering Brianna.hate crimeA spokesperson for the force said:"All lines of enquiry are being explored, including whether this was a hate crime.
"The loss of her young life has left a massive hole in our family, and we know that the teachers and her friends who were involved in her life will feel the same.
