Britney Spears is currently under investigation for battery following an alleged physical dispute with one of her staffers.

on Thursday : "On Monday, at about 10:25 in the morning, there was a dispute between Ms. Spears and one of her staff members that occurred at Ms Spears' home in Thousand Oaks. The staff member alleges that during that dispute, Ms. Spears battered her. Deputies conducted an investigation … and ultimately their reports will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for consideration of filing misdemeanor battery charges against Ms. Spears.
