Screen Rant is excited to present an exclusive clip from the final installment in the Detective Knight trilogy, Detective Knight: Independence. Detective Knight is back on the case after earning back his freedom and badge in Detective Knight: Redemption. Knight will once again have the weight of a city on his shoulders. In Detective Knight: Independence, a rogue vigilante gets his hands on a police uniform, gun, and EMT vehicle and begins terrorizing the city.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Detective Knight's story began with Detective Knight: Rogue, in which the titular detective hunts a violent robbery crew from Los Angeles to New York after they nearly kill his partner, Eric Fitzgerald. The actions he takes cross a line and lose him both his badge and his freedom. However, he is given a chance to earn back what he has lost in Detective Knight: Redemption when NYPD needs his help capturing a murderous bank robber terrorist.
Willis has had a prolific acting career, starring in countless action movies, comedies, and thrillers. Detective Knight captures Willis' dry humor and skills as an action star. Each movie becomes more personal for the titular detective as he must face his dark past in the first, fight for his freedom in the second, and now save his family from criminals more than willing to kill anyone who gets in their way.
Detective Knight: Independence stars Bruce Willis, Jack Kilmer, Lochlyn Munro, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Willow Shields, Dina Meyer, and Timothy V. Murphy. Detective Knight: Independence is written and directed by Edward Drake, based on a story by Drake and Corey Large. Detective Knight: Independence is one of Willis' final performances, with the actor retiring in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia.
