Deputies are evacuating the area of Sycuan Oaks Drive due to the Dehesa brush fire.
Video obtained by SKY 10 shows flames burning dangerously close to outbuildings.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, deputies are evacuating the area of Sycuan Oaks Drive. One person was injured and taken to Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa due to a burn injury, said Cal Fire. The agency said the fire erupted on a hillside and has burned about 15 to 20 acres at a moderate rate of speed. Cal Fire says there are some evacuations happening in the areas near the Sycuan Casino Resort.
