Daphne Police report that during the early morning hours of Saturday 03/09/2024, Terry Thompson Chevrolet was burglarized and four dealership-owned vehicles were stolen from the parking lot. The suspects forced entry into the building through a window in the service department and were able to obtain key fobs to several vehicles. Surveillance footage in the area showed that four masked suspects, wearing dark clothing, were dropped off in the area by a dark four-door sedan at approximately 0200. On-board GPS on one of the trucks showed the vehicle traveling North on I-65 northbound near the 12-mile marker in Prichard, AL shortly after the theft occurred. No additional information was available, and it is believed the suspects were able to disable the GPS systems.
