A burst water pipe has closed two roads in Lancaster with motorists asked to find an alternative route.
Lancashire Police have posted two pictures on social media that show St Peter's Road and Moorgate in Lancaster flooded. Both of the roads are impassable because of the flooding.A spokesperson for the force said: "This is the current state of ST PETER'S RD and MOORGATE in Lancaster. Both roads are currently impassable and closed due to flooding. United Utilities and Highways have been notified. Please avoid the area.
Traffic report service Inrix says: "Moor Gate in both directions impassable due to burst water main between St Peter's Road and Ullswater Road. St Peter's Road in both directions impassable due to burst water main between East Road and Moor Lane."
