In the last of three Town Hall talks broadcast by CNN on Sunday, 2020 presidential candidate and current South Bend, Indiana mayor Pete Buttigieg was faced with a difficult choice.
Buttigieg replied that he"ferociously" disagreed with the vice president when Pence served as Indiana's governor from 2013 to 2017."I used to at least believe that he believed in our. ...I disagreed with him ferociously on these things, but I thought at least he believes in our institutions and he's not personally corrupt.

Among other questions posed to Buttigieg during the Town Hall included his stance on increasing the number of Supreme Court Justices to 15, removing the Electoral College from presidential elections and his stance on climate change. Buttigieg was also challenged about his experience as he has never held public office on a state-wide or federal level.
