The Florida Republican pointed to other international incidents that have shown “weakness” on the United States’s part. “These terrorists — when they see weakness, they push,” Donalds said. “They saw it in Afghanistan. You see it in Ukraine with Vladimir Putin invading. So, you are going to sit here and tell me that Hamas isn’t looking around saying, ‘Oh well, maybe we could do something, too.’ Weakness breeds this kind of stuff.”
Donalds also noted that four U.S. embassies have been lost since Biden took office: “It doesn’t get reported much, but those are the facts.”He called upon the federal government to “support the Israeli defense forces.”
