A California man was arrested over Memorial Day weekend after spending nearly two hours in a car he crashed into a pond of liquid manure.
The South Sacramento division of the California Highway Patrol confirmed in a social media post they received the call at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Monday. First responders with the Cosumnes Fire Department, which serves the cities of Elk Grove and Galt in Sacramento County, located the vehicle after around 50 minutes of searching, spotting it was"partially submerged in a liquid manure storage pond."
