Cambridge United wants an 'enthusiastic and energetic' volunteer to become Marvin the Moose.
A League One football club has appealed for an "enthusiastic and energetic" volunteer to take on the role of its matchday mascot Marvin the Moose.
Cambridge United said the successful applicant would "proactively engage with supporters" at its games and "other ad-hoc events".The club is also recruiting a chaperone to "look after Marvin" on matchdays. The U's said candidates must be at least 18 and "willing to under take training appropriate for the role".
Cambridge, who play at the Abbey Stadium, are currently 17th in the table and travel to bottom club Cheltenham Town on Saturday in their next league match.Cambridge Times
