Ahead of her 75th Birthday, the Duchess of Cornwall has revealed that life under public scrutiny is 'not easy' during a rare interview with fashion magazine Vogue
Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, has opened up about her struggles in the public eye as part of a rare interview with Vogue ahead of her 75th birthday.
During the interview, Camilla opened up about the intense negativity from the public she has faced when her relationship with Prince Charles was revealed back in the 90s. Rather than dwell on the criticisms and let it define her, Camilla revealed she had chosen to get on with her life instead, and to focus on being the best wife, mother and grandmother she can be.
Speaking to Vogue, Camilla told the magazine: “It’s not easy sometimes, but we do always try to have a point in the day when we meet. Sometimes it’s like ships passing in the night, but we always sit down together and have a cup of tea and discuss the day. It’s lovely to catch up when we have a bit of time.”
