Further car park closures planned as high tide and large waves expected to hit Sefton coastline
Visitor's to Sefton's coastline have been warned to expect high winds and large waves tomorrow Tuesday April 9 as the Met Office issued a new weather alert.
Due to Sefton's long coastline, areas such as Crosby, Waterloo, Formby and Southport often attract a large number of visitors to their beaches and also the surrounding woodland and parks.READ MORE: The ultimate guide to the Grand National 2024 on sale now The Met Office has now issued a yellow weather alert across the North West coastline of England from 1am - 3pm on Tuesday April 9. It said: "Strong winds may bring hazardous coastal conditions and could cause some travel disruption."
