Sophie Russon's mum has said her daughter is ‘unrecognisable’ following the car crash in Cardiff that killed three others.
A 20-year-old girl who was trapped in the wreckage of a crashed car for two days is now ‘unrecognisable’, her mum has said.Sophie Russon, 20, and Shane Loughlin, 32, remain in a critical condition.Sophie was so badly injured in the collision that she was unable to reach her phone and call for help.’She doesn’t know where she is or what happened.The scene in the St Mellons area of Cardiff where the car was found ‘She’s in shock and has a lot of injuries. You can’t recognise her.
‘There’s no words to describe it. I can’t imagine how long it’s going to take for her to get over this. She’s going to need a lot of support.
