OAKLAND — An armed carjacking suspect was shot by Oakland police Friday afternoon in East Oakland, authorities confirmed.
The condition of the man shot was not immediately available. He was transported from the scene to a hospital.The shooting happened just before 1 p.m. in the area of 105th Avenue and International Boulevard.Numerous streets in the area were shut down while police investigated, including canvassing for witnesses.
